Paint Correction · Milford, Michigan
True Paint Correction.
No Glaze. No Shortcuts.
Most shops hide swirls under a glaze that washes away in weeks. We remove them. Through multi-stage machine polishing, your paint is corrected, not concealed, restoring real depth, clarity, and a mirror gloss that lasts. Performed by hand, by a specialist, in our climate-controlled studio.
The Problem
Six flaws are hiding in your finish.
Direct sunlight tells the truth: fine swirls, scratches, and a haze flattening what should be a deep, wet gloss.
Swirl marks and spider-webbing
Fine circular scratches, almost always from automatic washes and improper drying. They scatter light and kill the gloss.
Scratches and scuffs
Deeper marks from daily life, brushes, and careless hands, catching the eye on every panel.
Buffer trails and holograms
Streaky haze from rushed or amateur machine work. Bad correction can look worse than none.
Oxidation and fading
Years of UV and neglect dull the clear coat, draining its color and depth.
Water spots and etching
Minerals bake in and etch rings no normal wash will lift.
A flat, lifeless finish
Even a clean car looks dull once the paint loses clarity. The shine you paid for slowly disappears.
A wax or glaze hides these flaws for a wash or two. True correction removes them.
The Ascension Standard
Corrected,
not concealed.
Picture the swirls gone, the depth back, and a gloss so clean it mirrors the world around it.
True paint correction does not hide a single flaw. Multi-stage machine polishing refines the clear coat itself, removing the swirls, scratches, and haze.
- By hand, by one specialist, start to finish.
- Only as far as your paint safely allows, never at the cost of its health.
- A deep mirror gloss you can see from across the lot, not a shine that washes away in weeks.
The kind of finish that makes a car look like the investment it is.

Why Ascension
We remove defects. Others hide them.
Anyone can throw a glaze on paint and call it corrected. Here is the difference.
We correct, we never conceal
A glaze or filler hides swirls until the next wash. We remove them from the clear coat itself, for good.
Multi-stage machine polishing
One, two, or three stages, matched to your paint, from light haze to the heaviest defects.
Matched to your paint
We assess the clear coat and correct only as far as it safely allows.
Done by hand, by a specialist
Correction is a craft, not a quick buff. One specialist, panel by panel, start to finish.
Revealed under correction lighting
Defects hide in ordinary light. Dedicated lighting exposes every swirl: nothing missed, nothing faked.
Climate-controlled specialist studio
A controlled indoor environment, never outside at the mercy of the weather.
This is what separates true correction from a quick buff and a coat of wax.
Our Process
Five deliberate steps, each agreed with you first.
True correction is never guessed at. Here is what the right way looks like.
The Consultation
A conversation, not a checkout counter. We inspect under proper lighting, show you defects most people never notice, and recommend the level your car actually needs, never more.
Your Tailored Plan
Before any work is scheduled the plan is locked: the package, the stages, and the result you can expect. No surprises, no mid-job upsells.
The Full Correction
Washed, decontaminated, and clayed, then corrected through multi-stage machine polishing. Defects come out of the clear coat itself, panel by panel, never hidden.
The Final Inspection
Every panel is checked under dedicated correction lighting against the standard from your consult. Nothing leaves until it is exactly what we promised you.
The Reveal
We hand you the keys, walk you through the result, and show you how to keep it. You drive away corrected, not concealed.
No shortcuts. No rushed correction. Done the right way, the first time.
The Work
Real corrections. Real vehicles. Zero filler.
Recent corrections, finished in our climate-controlled Milford studio.
Questions, Answered
The questions owners ask us most.
Will paint correction remove all my scratches?
It removes the vast majority: swirls, haze, light scratches, and oxidation in the clear coat. Deep scratches that cut through the clear coat cannot be polished out safely, and we will never thin your paint chasing one mark.
In your consultation we tell you exactly what will come out.
How long does paint correction last?
Correction is permanent: defects polished out of the clear coat are gone for good. They only return through new damage, almost always improper washing. A ceramic coating preserves the result and makes the paint far harder to swirl again.
Is paint correction safe for my clear coat?
In the right hands, yes. Correction removes only a microscopic layer of clear coat; we assess yours first and correct only as far as it safely allows. Rushed or amateur polishing is what damages paint.
What is the difference between 1-step, 2-step, and 3-step correction?
A 1-step reduces light swirls and haze, a 2-step removes deeper swirls and scratches, and a 3-step targets heavy defects and oxidation. Arise, Elevate, and Ascend map to these levels, and we recommend the right one in your consultation.
How is true correction different from a buff and wax?
A buff and wax or glaze fills and hides swirls; they reappear with the next wash. True correction removes them from the clear coat itself, for good.
Do you correct exotic and luxury vehicles?
Regularly; they are exactly what our top tier is built for. Every correction is performed by hand, by appointment, by a single specialist, treating every panel as a one-of-one.
Should I get a ceramic coating after correction?
It is the smartest next step. A ceramic coating protects the corrected finish for years, locking in the gloss and repelling water and dirt. Right after correction you are sealing in a flawless finish instead of old defects.
How do I know which package my car needs?
You do not have to guess. We inspect your paint, show you the defects, and recommend the level your car actually needs, never more than it should have. The right result, not the biggest invoice.
