- Road brine is on the paint from December through March, and a rinse in freezing weather rarely lifts all of it.

What a ceramic coating actually does
Two things happen in the bay, and the order is the whole argument. The paint is corrected first, then it is sealed. Do it the other way round and you lock in what is already there.
- Gloss and depthWhat you see afterwards is your own paint reading clearly again, held there by the coating rather than by a layer of wax that leaves in a month.
- SlicknessThe coated surface is slicker than bare clear coat, so water and road film release rather than clinging. Beading is usually the first thing owners notice.
- Chemical resistanceSalt, sap and droppings sit on the coating rather than directly on your clear coat, which buys you time to get them off before they leave a mark.
- Easier washingDirt and road film release with far less contact, so the wash itself stops being the thing that puts new swirls into your paint.
- UV and oxidationThe coating takes the sun before your clear coat does, which is what slows the dulling and fading that shows up on an unprotected finish.
What it will not do. A coating is harder and slicker than bare clear coat, which helps against light marring from washing. It is not physical armor. Rock chips and road debris need paint protection film.

The ceramic coating warranty
Every coating carries a written warranty for the term of its tier. It covers the coating doing what we said it would do. If it stops performing inside that window, you bring the vehicle back and we put it right.
- The term is the tierOn the paint coating, Arise is one year, Elevate is three years and Ascend is five years. There is no open-ended version of this and we do not offer one.
- Paint onlyThe warranty covers the coating on your paint. Wheels, glass, trim and suspension are coated at the levels that include them, and they sit outside the paint warranty.
- Supported in houseThere is no manufacturer claim process to go through. You speak to our team directly, in the studio you left the car at.
- Issued at handoverIn writing when you collect the vehicle, along with the care guide for the cure period and the wash routine that keeps it performing.

How we apply a ceramic coating
This is not a same afternoon service. The correction and the cure both take real time, and rushing either one is how a coating fails early. Your drop off and collection dates are confirmed when you book, so you are working to a firm date rather than an estimate.
Decontamination
A full wash, then iron and chemical decontamination and a clay stage. Everything bonded to the paint comes off before anything touches it with a machine.
Multi stage correction
Cut, polish and refine. This is the stage that puts the depth back, and it is the same on Arise as it is on Ascend. Correction is never sold to you as an extra here.
Panel wipe and coating
An IPA panel wipe strips every polishing oil so nothing hides a defect, and it is a formal check rather than a habit. The coating then goes on panel by panel, by hand.
Cure, inspection and handover
The vehicle cures in a controlled bay, then it is inspected under dedicated lighting before it goes anywhere near you, with your written warranty and care guide.

How much of the marring lifts depends on the condition and hardness of your paint, which is why we set the exact expectation once we have seen the car rather than before.
How do I wash a coated car, and when can I start?
Rinse with clean water only for the first two days. From day three to day seven, spot clean with a quick detailer. From day eight you can give it its first full hand wash. Automatic tunnel washes are out from then on, because the brushes put back exactly the marring we removed. You leave with all of that in writing.
