These are coated as part of this offer at no charge. They are not covered by the three year paint warranty, and we would rather you knew that now than found out later.
Correction comes first
We machine-correct 90 to 95% of the swirls, scratches and imperfections in the clear coat before any coating goes down. A coating locks in whatever is under it, so this is not a step that can be skipped.
Applied in a climate-controlled facility
Coatings cure to temperature and humidity. Our bays are sealed and stable year round, so the chemistry does what it is supposed to instead of what the weather allows.
Three years, in writing
The coating carries a written warranty for its full term. If it stops performing inside that window you bring the vehicle back and we put it right.

Correction is the part that matters
A coating seals in whatever is under it, dealer wash swirls included, unless they come out first.
Water leaves on its own
Rain beads up and rolls off instead of drying into spots on the panel.

Your coating is completed within two business days. If we miss it, your install is free. The one exception is a specialty vehicle or paint that needs heavy correction, and we scope those up front so you know before you book rather than after.
That guarantee is the reason correction is included rather than sold to you as an extra once the car is already here. We are not going to rush the step that decides how the paint looks for the next three years, so it is planned into the two business days from the start.

What does it cost?
It follows two things: the vehicle, and the condition the paint is in when it arrives. Correction is included rather than an add-on, so a car with two years of wash marks takes more work than one off the truck. Send the year, make and model with a few photos of the paint in daylight and you get a written price back, with no visit and no obligation.
Why do you correct the paint first?
Because a coating is optically clear and it locks in whatever is underneath it. Coat a car with swirls in the clear coat and you have sealed the swirls in for three years. Even a delivery-fresh vehicle usually carries marks from a dealer wash tunnel, which is exactly the sort of thing that comes out easily now and never comes out later.
What is the detail 30 to 60 days later?
You bring the car back once and we run a full exterior detail on it, on us. It is partly so the car looks the way it did on collection day, and partly so we get eyes on the coating after it has lived through a month of real driving.
How long does the vehicle stay with you?
Two business days, and we put that in writing. If we miss it, the install is free. The one exception is a specialty vehicle or paint that needs heavy correction, and we scope those up front so you know before you book rather than after.
Do I still have to wash it?
Yes, and this is the part shops skip over. A coating makes washing easier and far less risky, it does not remove the job. Keep it out of automatic brush washes, rinse the salt off through winter, and it will hold. We show you the routine at pickup.
