What it is
A clear shell over your paint
Your paint has a thin clear layer on top of it. That layer is soft, and it is the part that gets scratched, faded and dulled.
A ceramic coating is a liquid we apply by hand, panel by panel. It bonds to that layer and hardens into a clear, glass-like shell. It does not peel and it does not wash off. It becomes part of the surface.

Why you and not the shop down the road
580 five star reviews is the short answer. The longer one is that most shops sell the coating and treat the paint prep as an upsell. We do it the other way around. Complete correction is included in every Ascend package, because a coating locks in whatever is underneath it.

The opposite. We plan the hours before you arrive and your vehicle gets a bay to itself, so nothing sits waiting. Correction is the long part and we schedule for it rather than squeezing it in.

My paint already has swirls. Is it too late
That is exactly what the correction is for, and it is why we include it instead of selling it separately. We machine polish the defects out of the clear coat first, then bond the coating over corrected paint.
One client had spots he had been trying to remove himself for years. They came out during prep, before the coating ever went on.
What if it stops working in a year
The Ascend coating is warrantied for five years, and that is a real number rather than a lifetime claim we would never have to honor. Coatings do lose some water beading over time, which is exactly why the free ceramic boost at twelve months is part of this offer.
Is this better than a wax or a lower priced coating
A wax sits on top of the paint and is gone in about three months. A coating bonds to the paint and lasts five years. Those are different products solving different problems.
Between one coating and another, the gap is almost never the bottle. It is the hours of correction and prep before the bottle is opened. That is where a lower price comes from, and it is the part you cannot see until two years later.
